  1. According to one Fiqh Expert:

Question: The serious harm of narcotic drugs to the user or society in general (whether from being addicted to them or other [sociatal, familial, and ethical] reems) is well known.

Therefore, the doctors and health care professionals are strongly opposing the misuse of drugs and the laws governing the society is also strongly against it. So, what is the view of the noble shari‘a on this matter?

Answer: By considering the serious harm of narcotic drugs, it is forbidden to use them due to the great damage they cause. Based on obligatory precaution, it is compulsory to refrain from using them in any way [even if there is no harm], except for medical purposes and the like; in the latter case, it can be used only to the extent of need. And Allãh knows the best.

  2. Salaam brother. I'd just liked to say I'm very confused on this particular topic and there are diffrent views. In the quran, like you told us in part 1, prohibits things that intoxicate you. From my own experience and understanding intoxicating means to lose control of themselves and their behavior. However, I don't feel as 'weed' is 'intoxicating'. It would be wonderful if you could respond because the path isn't clear, and I can't find answers anywhere. Mashallah you hold a lot of knowledge may Allah bless you, and may Allah guide us all
    Jazakallah Hu khairan

  3. Here is how i see it bro, i been smoking weed for the past 6 months with 1 month rest just have quit it. Obama, steve jobs, arnold schazzeneger and many popular people have smoked weed. Weed has it's history in sufism. I myself am i sufi for over 2 years i also visit Gavz in Adiyaman Menzil in Turkey.

Every plant has it's purpose. Just like weed it is a doctor, a female spiritual teacher, it has a soul a ruh. And it opens your chakra's, your energy medians i have greatly benefit from it. It releases resistance and gives you a deeper meditation where you can think and observe better. The reason you get red eyes from it is because it opens your blood vessels, the reason you get lazy from it is because you aren't supose to work in a 9 to 5 office job it just makes you more smart you are more likely to climb a banana or mango tree and eat some fruit. Also the science is out there claiming it heals cancer, tumors, parkinson, PTSD, it even stenghten lung capacity and a lot more.

But it shouldn't be abused just like anything can be addictive weed also can be addictive. So it's not the weed but the people. I live in Holland where weed is legal and you have like 5 weed coffee shops in every city lol.

  4. I’M MUSLIM AND I USE IT FOR MEDICAL USE AND I STILL PRACTICE MY RELIGION EVERYDAY. I USE A MIGHTY VAPORIZER, WHICH REMOVE 95% OF CARCINOGENS. I SWIM A LOT AND I’M A GOOD FATHER AND HUSBAND. SO PLEASE RETHINK WHAT YOU’RE SAYING BROTHER AND EDUCATED YOURSELF ON THE CANNABIS SUBJECT, DON’T BE NARROW MINDED. WHAT IS KILLING PEOPLE ARE PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS, PEOPLE OVER EATING, NOT EXERCISING, AND THAT’S WHAT YOU SHOULD BE FOCUSING ON. 😁
