  1. Why does he not just tell the kid that he doesn't have enough LED for a 4 by 8 tent? The kid has a Quantum board and a chill LED board. He needs at least another six of those for that tent. At least if he wants to fill the tent up.

  2. I RECOMMEND HIGHLY YOU LOOK AT NORCALGROW AND THEIR LED VS HPS TEST. SPYDER BML PUT DOWN 60% MORE LIGHT WITH 40% LESS POWER DRAW. GAVITA,PARSOURCE AND E PAPILLION DEHPS LOST IN YIELD AND THC OVER SIX STRAINS. THEY ARE FUCKING STREETLIGHTS. LET THE GLORY DAYS GOES BRO.

  3. I don't understand why people believe that growing organically will stop nutrient burn from happening. You can overload anything with newts. Especially top-dressing as he is talking about with things like blood meal. It takes a while for that stuff to really break down appropriately but when it does it is very potent. And then for him to say non sodium based nutrients? That really blew my mind. Why does he think salt has to do with synthetics? This continues to prove to me that people in Las Vegas must just be the dumbest people alive.

  4. Now if you’re in a facility, that is very different. If you can get 5% savings in electricity and you’re running hundreds of lights, that could save you a legit amount of power and more so than the money they save, it allows the facility to run another few hundred lights since some places have limits on their power. But for the home grower, an LED simply does not make any logical sense.

  5. Let’s make this argument shall we :

Cannabis is still roughly $150-200-250 an ounce depending on how good the quality is and/or where you are in the country.

So on average it is fair to say that it is worth around 2400 a pound.

If a 600 watt HID light costs 50 bucks a month to run, and it only takes 12 weeks (about 6 weeks with all 600 watts on) of that light to get a pound of bud, then you have gotten that $2400 worth of cannabis for about $200-250 including the cost of veg.

So if you look at that equation, the lights are about 10% or less in terms of cost on your grow…so let’s look at LEDs.

They claim that if you use an LED you save maybe up to 50% on the power consumption. But my question is this:

    If cannabis is worth $2400/pound

And an HID light costs 10% or less of that money to grow that pound

How much are you REALLY saving with an LED? $100-150 per pound? So 5%. You’re saving 5% of your money, all to get a total savings of like maybe $2000 a year, when you’re growing $2400+ worth of cannabis every month.

Seems to me that if you’re such a nut about money that 5% increase in profits is worth all the trouble and bullshit that comes with figuring out LEDs then be my guest. Personally , I’ll stick to my 8-10% cost on the HID and get consistent awesome harvests.

  6. The caller sat there and talked all that shit and send in those pics? hahahahahahah, and didn't he say his colas were way bigger???? and he said he has grown like 7 harvest and those plants look like that???…TRAGIC!!
