Alcohol substitutions, alcohol replacements, and much more are discussed in this episode (ep. 179) of Elevation Recovery. Cohosts Chris Scott and Matt Finch …

  1. Thank you so much for all the great content. Much respect and admiration for you two. I found Chris Scott 1.5 years ago and I thank God y’all give free access to anyone, esp throughout Covid. I have my own story with alcohol (I am a light weight) but I still absolutely have done a lot of the things you suggest…. and it started with purchasing Chris’s book January 2020. Thank you again 🙏🏼🙏🏼

  2. I do drink non-alcoholic beers. I drink one bottle every other day and that is it. Because it’s not making me buzzed, I don’t want another one. I have few favorites that satisfy my taste buds. I also enjoy kambucha, ginger beers. I make several mocktails that are very satisfying. I don’t see myself going back to drinking alcohol. I’m working on my mental health, childhood and past relationships traumas. I feel so incredibly good psychologically at the moment that I can’t see myself reversing back to my out of control drinking. But one day at a time. It’s seventh week of no alcohol and it feels amazing. I’m planning on keeping it that way.

  3. Hey, there’s probably thousands of individuals that you’ve gotten sober. I’m coming up on 300 days and I can say with %100 certainty that changing my diet and CBD helped me. No one else on YouTube mentions this either so you guys are such an asset to the sober community.

  4. This is so helpful. Im about to stop ..again with the Allen Carr book. I used his book for stopping smoking and it worked for me. I am imagining my life alcohol free and this helps. Psychologically I am between givin up for several months, a year, for good. When ive been off booze before Ive had euphorais from nowhere and nothing and I think I had that before I ever drank at all. Thank you. x

  5. I don't drink near beer since my drink of choice was whiskey. I just treat myself to a variety of delicious non-alcoholic beverages. Everything from organic juices, to French press coffee….and sodas from different countries. It satisfies my need to try new drinks which I use do do with whiskey and scotch
